Glyf exists to eliminate manual invoice data entry.

Expense processing is a solved problem for enterprises — they have dedicated teams, ERP systems, and six-figure software budgets. For everyone else, the options are spreadsheets or tools that were never designed for simplicity.

Glyf bridges that gap. A focused extraction engine that turns invoices and receipts into structured, export-ready data — without the complexity, without the setup, and without compromising on accuracy.

The Problem We Solve

Most expense processing tools fall into one of two categories:

Enterprise software scaled down. Complex systems designed for large organizations, retrofitted for smaller users. They require onboarding, configuration, and often a consultant. The learning curve alone costs more time than the manual work they replace.

Basic OCR with a nice interface. Tools that look modern but extract data unreliably. They miss line items, confuse tax rates, and produce results that require more correction than they save.

Neither category serves the freelancer sorting through a quarter's worth of receipts, or the small business owner preparing for tax season.

Our Approach

Accuracy over speed.Glyf's Data Extraction Engine achieves over 95% accuracy on standard invoices and receipts. We prioritize correct extraction — vendor, date, amounts, tax details, line items — because inaccurate data creates more work than no data at all.

Simplicity by design. No installation. No onboarding flow. No configuration wizard. Upload documents, review the extracted data, export to Excel or CSV. The product should be useful within the first minute.

Privacy as infrastructure. Primary infrastructure hosted in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest. No cookies, privacy-preserving analytics only. Where We're Going

Glyf started as an internal tool built to solve a specific problem — processing invoices for small e-commerce operations dealing with German tax requirements. The problem turned out to be universal.

Today, Glyf handles document extraction, searchable history, tagging, and multi-format export. The roadmap includes deeper integrations, smarter validation, and expanded document support — always guided by the same principle: reduce the work between receiving an invoice and having usable data.

We are building Glyf as a long-term product, not a quick exit. Every decision — from EU hosting to transparent pricing — reflects that commitment.
