Pricing pages are where trust goes to die… usually because the limits are vague on purpose.

This page is the opposite: how Glyf handles usage limits, batch limits, export limits, and fair use — in plain language — so you know exactly what you're buying.

What "Document Extraction Pricing per Page" Means Here

Glyf usage is based on scans (each document you process counts as one scan), not on surprise "per-field" rules.

1 receipt = 1 scan
1 invoice PDF = 1 scan
If a PDF contains multiple pages, it's still one document upload, but extraction complexity can vary by layout. And remember, it only scans the first page of the document.
And the good thing is if you are a paid member, there are no limits on how many documents you can process!

Core Limits (The Only Ones That Matter)

1) Batch limits (upload size per session)

Batch limits keep uploads smooth and manageable.

Free Trial: up to 5 files per batch
Starter: up to 5 files per batch
Advanced: up to 10 files per batch

If you regularly upload big stacks, you'll feel the difference immediately.

2) Scan limits (how many documents you can process)

Free Trial: 15 total scans
Starter / Advanced: Unlimited scans (fair use applies below)

If your workflow is "every month, dozens of receipts," you'll almost certainly land on Starter.

3) Export limits (what you can download)

Glyf isn't a "data hostage" product. Exports are part of the workflow.

All plans include export to:

Fair Use (What It Is, and What It Isn't)

Fair use exists to prevent abuse, not to punish normal users.

Fair use generally means:

You're using Glyf for real expense processing (receipts and invoices)
Your usage pattern is consistent with a human workflow (not bulk scraping or automated hammering)
You're not trying to run massive, continuous ingestion that belongs in an enterprise pipeline

What fair use is not:

A hidden throttle that randomly slows you down
A gotcha that blocks you after a "secret number"
A way to reduce accuracy or degrade your results

If you're doing something unusual (like extremely high volume for a team), you can still use Glyf — you'll just want the right plan and workflow.

Common Questions (Quick Answers)

"Will you block me if I upload a lot in one day?"

If you're on Starter or Advanced and you're doing normal business volume, you're fine. If usage looks automated or abusive, the system may temporarily slow requests to protect reliability.

"Can I export as much as I want?"

Yes. Exports are included because the whole point is getting spreadsheet-ready data out.

"Do you limit how long I can keep documents?"

Free Trial: 7-day history
Paid plans: unlimited history

"Is batch upload the same as unlimited scans?"

No. Batch upload is how many files you can submit at once. Unlimited scans is how many documents you can process over time.
